Top Ten WVC events 2015

As we all prepare for the holidays and the start of a new year, I want to send you and yours some well wishes and a sincere thank you for allowing me to serve you and the community that I love. "What is going on in West Valley City?" is the most commonly asked question that I receive. So once again I have compiled and ranked a report in the form of a TOP TEN LIST of West Valley City 2015 events with some corresponding web links. I hope that you will enjoy this information and that it will provide perspective on the overall direction of our City:

10-New addition to our WVC City Center in form of a large and modern medical complex.

9-Not good news, but a terrific response by WVC Fire Department in battling monumental fire.

8-First of its kind public/private partnership to provide clean solar energy.

7-More Police Officers living and working in West Valley City.

6-Concerts to suit everyone, from large to small and every style. Including a Utah's first ever visit by youtube sensations the Harp Twins.

5-After years of saving up money, WVC finally has plans and are about to break ground on a skatepark.

4-Rapid Building and Jobs at Freeport West 'ARA' Industrial Center.

3-Success and widespread acclaim for WVC's Idea House program.

2-Announcement of new soccer stadium and home of the Real Monarchs.

1-Recognized and overall continued trend towards quality revitalization.  Too many to mention.

Overall, I feel like it has been a solid year of accomplishments for West Valley City through its continued growth, safety, and improvements. 2016 will be an important year and opportunity to build on these successes. Please keep involved and even share this email with your West Valley friends and neighbors.  There are links provided at the bottom to forward, join, or unsubscribe to my West Valley City survey mailing list. Thank you for what you do to make your West Valley City home and community great!

Sincerely,
